# ISAP(c) PROGRAMMER GUIDE: ISAP(c) 1994 by G. W. Moore, G. W. Moore, J. J. Berman, and L. A. Brown, is a public-domain system for Image Segmentation and Analysis in Pathology, developed at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. ISAP(c) is written in Visual Basic for Windows, an object-oriented programming environment, with linkage to MS-Windows. ISAP(c) has edge-detection algorithms for determining the edge of a particle which is contained within a larger field of different density, such as a nucleus contained within cytoplasm or a nucleolus contained within the nucleus. The program is in the public domain, and may be distributed at no cost. The source code and executable code are included in this floppy disk.
